  3. [http://www.flickr.com/photos/carlein] and hence inappropriate for Instagram ;). Don’t get me started again! I can’t still quite believe there is no way to delete my account and get my photos out of their servers. Thanks!

  4. you have to delete them one by one yourself…

  5. [http://www.flickr.com/photos/carlein] even if you do that they remain on their servers! It’s crazy. And it’s pointless. And anyway I want to delete my account, my likes, my comments, everything. I simply don’t want my name associated with them. The fact that I am unable to that is at the same time scary and offensive.

  6. hmmmmmm…. seems you need a hacker :))

but i agree… it must be possible to completely delete everything as it is your work… and they don’t have a right to keep it on their servers…

  8. There is almost an expressive frown, of puzzlement? And the mouth, also very expressive, pouty. That is one #sexy mannequin.

  9. [http://www.flickr.com/photos/valdivia2010] thanks. Your comments are delightful.

  10. Caro Marco,
you know, lately I have been gently talking about issues such as the inability to get your images out of someones server once we delete ( or they delete) our account. Nobody seems to give much thought to this… I am not surprised, but I am somewhat saddened by the lack of social awareness and , let’s say it, social fairness that permeates the so called social-media and the majority of people dabbling with it.
It is easy to TALK about revolution and avant-garde and "community".
I humbly believe it takes more cojones and awareness than most people are capable or willing to put into it to actually LIVE the meaning of those words.

Missing you on ig…where I probably might not last much longer myself……

  11. Giovanni, I appreciate your words and of course I am 100% with you. It is not easy for the majority of people to step out of a service that gives you thousands of "likes" per day. What is sad is that people are willing to give up their rights in exchange. I was finally able to get my account deleted in IG. To delete comments and likes they needed another request. And I haven’t succeeded yet to have them remove my images from their servers.

BTW, I am really really enjoying your portraits.

    Ciao.

  12. Wonderful pic!! Love it!
